Worker Details

Lisa, her husband and three children are currently living in Brisbane after ten years serving with the team in Cambodia. With an unfading passion for missions, she is delighted to join the team in South Asia to lead our partner NGO. In stepping into the role, Lisa shared, "I will never fill Morris' shoes as Founder, but I hope to fashion a pair of CEO sandals that are more my size, keenly aware that it is going to take a huge team effort."

As an experienced intercultural worker, Lisa's approach is one of relational learner who not only loves the challenge of learning language and culture, but also enjoys working within a team in Australia and South Asia. Together, they are seeking to equip and empower the local B staff to build relationships that enable poor and marginalised people to overcome poverty by working together. Lisa shares, "I believe that it is in relationships of trust where real transformation occurs - these take time, commitment and a great team."

Lisa loves the South Asia team's commitment to sharing the good news of Jesus in word and deed in a way that powerfully connects with the local context. She writes, "I have seen that it is a unique and very effective work that is transforming lives from the inside out but in a way that strengthens communities rather than tearing them apart."

Her role is based in Australia, with regular travel to South Asia. Lisa shares, "My challenge and joy is to support and encourage this growing local movement of Jesus followers as they bring life-changing transformation within their communities".
