We’ve been given an incredible opportunity: to help shape the future of missions in the Solomon Islands. The National Assemblies of God Bible College has asked us to add Missions to their core curriculum—and assist in developing an international missions program for the AOG movement across the nation.
This is huge. It’s not just a course—it’s the beginning of a national missions movement.
We feel deeply called to say yes to this. We'll also be training local believers to lead the program long-term—because this movement belongs to them. We're also hoping to bring along another seasoned missionary from Papua New Guinea, to support and strengthen the training.
But right now, we need help to get there.
Location: Auki (Malaita) and Honiara
Dates: Two weeks of training and planning
Team: Indigenous Ministry Links Australia team of two, and one other experienced missionary
Focus:
Train Bible college students and equip local leaders
Provide textbooks and missions training materials
Run additional missions training in Honiara
Begin shaping a national missions strategy
This includes other needs:
Textbooks for students (most cannot afford their own)
Printing equipment and training resources
The students at the Bible college are passionate and hungry for the Gospel—but most can’t even afford a textbook. Your support doesn’t just get us there—it equips a new generation of missionaries to go where the Gospel has not yet gone.
