Ben and Petra

For a long time Ben and Petra felt a call from God to partner in His work in the world... however, they just weren’t sure where that would be. Through a long journey they came to believe that God was wanting them to work among the K people of the Silk Road Area.

In 2016 Ben, Petra, Bryce and Lachlan arrived. In their time on the Silk Road they have grown to love the K people. It’s been encouraging for them to see the ways that God is already at work in this place, and their prayer is for the many seeds that have been planted over years to begin to germinate into a vibrant community of followers of Jesus.

Aside from language and culture learning, Ben leads an English program that provides both a valuable service for the local community, as well the opportunity to meet many people. Petra uses her skills as an Occupational Therapist to connect with families who have children with disabilities, demonstrating that God’s love is unconditional and for all.

Ben and Petra’s desire is to live and serve among the K people long-term. However, they cannot do this alone. Please consider financially and prayerfully partnering with them and the ministry in the Silk Road Area.
