Worker Details

Margaret has always had a heart for mission. She served in South Africa for two and a half years and after returning to Australia, Margaret worked in the NSW/ACT Baptist Mission Australia office for five years. It was at a Mission Lunch in May 2018 that God prompted Margaret to speak to the former State Lirector, Andrew Palmer, about serving with Baptist Mission Australia. Margaret is looking forward to joining the Ethnic Thai team and being used by God to make a difference in people’s lives by sharing the love of Jesus with them.

Margaret will be based in rural Thailand, initially focusing on culture and language learning lessons, teaching English in the local school and eventually working alongside Luke and Belle with the Ethnic Thai faith communities. Margaret will also provide administrative assistance to Muana and the rest of the team.

Margaret has nearly 30 years administration experience, mostly in the not-for-profit sector. She has also served in church ministry roles including Kids Church Leader, newsletter editor, café ministry and is currently the overseas missions ministry leader at her home church.
