Project Details
The Sydney Refugee Team meets practical needs, builds authentic relationships and nurture dignity and worth found only in the hope of Jesus through the following ministries:
· Refugee companionship through regular visits to refugees.The offer of authentic friendship helps create a safe environment for refugee families. As a result, refugee and asylum seeker are freed to more easily embrace a new life looking forwards to a positive future.
· Delivery of supplies of nutritious food and helping in practical ways.
· Freedom to Flourish provides a counselling and trauma healing service. Includes an arts and garden group for women, an explore and express through the Arts for women and social soccer wellbeing for men.
