Persecuted Christians

Persecuted Christians

Victims of violence, Job loss, Education loss. Harassment. Homeless

The Problem

Globally many Christians are regularly persecuted for their faith.  This can take many forms including:

  • Being subjected to threats or acts of violence because of their Christian faith
  • Being disqualified from job and educational opportunities because they follow Jesus
  • Being forced from their homes
  • Unable to participate in things we take for granted like sporting teams, clubs and other groups.
  • Prevented from attending church
  • Not receiving medical treatment because of their faith
  • General harassment and discrimination in daily life.

The Response

A number of Christian missions seek to support these Christians in various ways including - job creation, provisions for an education, medical treatment and shelter.
